To set the stage for continued conversations, think about, or actually write, a one page paper—so that is about 350 words which fit on one typed page—on the following prompt:

Whom do you trust?

 There are obviously lots of ways to understand this question, and multiple ways to respond, so you may take any tack you want—but try answering the question to the best of your ability, realizing that people are going to go in multiple different directions in their respective papers.

(Needless to add, there are lots of possible negative answers, but the prompt asks you for a positive response; not whom don’t you trust, but whom do you?)
